Hidden Treasure from Heaven
 
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.

One morning as I awoke from sleep, I heard these words: “Many will use the scars of time past to lay as jewels before the Lord.” I received these words as confirmation I have a story to share of how the Lord has healed me and brought me through times of trials and times of blessings. The scars are the healed wounds of rejection, abandonment, fear, and loss. The hidden treasures were jewels of blessings that came out of those times and the lessons learned through them. As I yielded to the Lord’s direction in my life, I found I was on a pathway to restoration of things lost, stolen, or given away in error.

My story is about what God has given from His treasures from Heaven since 1989, when I followed His ways. I want to show how a life lived with God’s influence and direction brought healing and blessings into my life. I am writing this blog for my family and friends who have been on this journey with me and anyone on the path to healing and restoration.

Today I lay my story before the Lord as jewels that point to the work He has done in my life.
